Dan Sadowsky a.k.a. Pastor Mustard
Host | Bluegrass with Mustard
Born on a mountaintop in Tennessee, the greatest state in the land of the free, young Mustard never recovered from early exposure to Bluegrass music. Or jug band music. Or any of yall's musics, the funkier the better. In a career, if you can call it that, spanning professional puppetry, theater, swing guitar pickin', publishing, primary education, and a really long gig emceeing The Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Mustard at last entered the imaginary clergy when he assumed the helm of The Church of the Nifty Blue Chrysler, Inc."Savin' souls is my business, and business is good," claims the Pastor, who believes he was appointed and anointed to air music too good for regular radio.
Under deep cover as Dan Sadowsky, Pastor Mustard came to Aspen in 1978 to play music and keep reality at arm's length. He runs his non-profit, The National Jam Foundation, to support creative music education in schools.
