Polly Pollard
Underwriting Sales Director
A Seattle native, Polly moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1974 house sitting in Snowmass Village and working a series of jobs. After two years, she hired on at the Aspen Times in the advertising department under Su Lum. With twenty five years of advertising experience she switched careers and and began selling underwriting for Aspen Public Radio and teaching English as a Second Language for Colorado Mountain College. Not for profit entities have been always held a place in her heart.
Polly started tutoring in high school, spent two years in India in the Peace Corps and more recently has been on the Basalt Regional Library Board, an Aspen FilmFest volunteer, a tutor with English in Action and of course, an Aspen Public Radio listener, member and volunteer. She believes that if everyone volunteered a few hours a month the world would be a much better place.
