On Our Community Calendar...RESPONSE, the Aspen Police Department, and the Aspen Counseling Center are hosting a Teen Dating Violence Awareness Panel Discussion for students and parents on Tuesday, February 7 from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Aspen High School seminar room. Topics will include foundations of healthy relationships, the warning signs of unhealthy relationships, and others.

On our community calendar...The 2012 Naturalist Nights winter speaker continues with a talk titled "Black Swifts: The Coolest Bird Ever," by USFS scientist Kim Potter on the migratory journey of Black Swifts. On our Community calendar...The Roaring Fork Valley Horse Council is hosting a Western Square Dance on Friday, February 10 from 7 to 10 pm at the Alpine Animal Hospital. Sounds Like Shakespeare
On Our Community Calendar...The Carbondale Council on Arts & Humanities (CCAH), The Roaring Fork Chamber Players and Music Society, and the Hudson Reed Ensemble present "Sounds Like Shakespeare," on February 12 at 4pm at the Third Street Center in Carbondale. The Blind Cafe
On our community calendar...On February 14th, The Blind Cafe opens its doors at the Sky Hotel in Aspen for a three course meal, full concert, and community awareness event in complete darkness. On our community calendar...The Carbondale Public Arts Commission invites artists to submit proposed 3-dimensional artwork for the 2012 Art aRound Town exhibition. Artists should submit one "Proposal Image" of their intended sculptural entry along with 4 additional images of other 3-D work for review. Images may be submitted through the CAFE website through February 29 at: www.callforentry.org.

Food for Fines
On our community calendar...The Garfield County Libraries announces the Food for Fines program. For the month of February, library patrons may bring in non-perishable food items to any of the six branch libraries and receive credit on their library card account toward overdue fines.
