Aspen Public Radio has long depended on the kindness of its listeners and underwriters to provide the station with a significant portion of its operating expenses. At the same time, the station recognizes that it has the means to give back to the community by sharing its most valuable resource – air time – with other area non-profit organizations.
Aspen Public Radio donates $5,000 every month in on-air underwriting to an organization that might otherwise have a difficult time affording traditional methods of spreading the word about their missions and events. If you're interested in having your non-profit organization sponsored on Aspen Public Radio, please contact our director of development & corporate support,
Debbie Welden.

The Colorado Chapter of the National MS Society has been serving Coloradans with MS for over 50 years and remains committed to providing education, programs and services that empower you to live a healthy productive life.
The National MS Society is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS now-to move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn't.
In recognition of the remarkable support the station has received from the community over the past 20+ years, Aspen Public Radio has established scholarships for students in the Aspen and Roaring Fork School Districts. Each spring, one high school senior from each district who plans on studying broadcast journalism and/or communications in college will be awarded a scholarship. For more information on the scholarships, please contact membership director
Christy Garfield.
