U.S. Senator Michael Bennet visited Aspen's Colorado Mountain College campus yesterday, and praised the school's push to create green training programs. Aspen Public Radio's Marci Krivonen reports.
Among the heady themes of world affairs, the American economy and climate change, there are other topics discussed at the Aspen Ideas Festival that draw crowds because of their simple intrigue. A session on "Lust, Romance and Attachment" packed a room Tuesday, enlightening participants on some of their most basic human traits. Aspen Public Radio's Mitzi Rapkin reports.

The question of how just the American Justice System really is, was part of a panel discussion at the Aspen Ideas Festival yesterday. Recidivism, reintegration and incarceration rates were all identified as problems. Aspen Public Radio's Victoria Foley reports.
Tonight US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, will introduce a documentary film which chronicles the lives of low income children who beat the odds. The film, "Ten9Eight," debuts at 8:30 at Paepcke Auditorium in Aspen. Aspen Public Radio's Marci Krivonen reports.

The documentary Food Inc. is screening at Paepcke Auditorium in Aspen tonight as one of the Ideas Festival Public Programs. The new film has largely been hailed by critics but is not without controversy. Aspen Public Radio's Mitzi Rapkin reports.
