Emily is a Colorado native, growing up outside of Denver. She headed to Colorado State University in Fort Collins for college, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and Business Administration.
She immediately began her career in hospitality after graduation, proceeding to be the Front Office Manager at multiple properties, working in Group Sales, and also helping in the accounting departments.
She decided driving to the mountains every weekend was not ideal, so she made the leap and moved to Aspen, where she chose to change up her career into the non-profit world in order to do more for the community. She first joined the Buddy Program team early 2016, which gave her insight into her new and strong passion for non-profits. Emily is honored to join the Aspen Public Radio team as the Development Associate in 2018.
In her free time, she enjoys skiing, skinning, hiking, camping, fly-fishing, running, and anything the outdoors offer.
