The Big Read 2009
Aspen Public Radio presents a special series featuring Harper Lee's "To Kill A Mockingbird." This series is presented in partnership with the Aspen Writers' Foundation and Pitkin County Library, presenters of The Big Read Roaring Fork Valley. The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest. The series will run through Friday, October 30. Each day, a different portion of To Kill a Mockingbird will be read by a narrator. Narrators for the project include Robert Wagner, Jill St. John, John Oates, and Aspen Public Radio's very own Carolyne Heldman.
