This week on Cross Currents, reporter Elizabeth Stewart-Severy interviews Bronze Star recipient Stacy Bare, who is also the Director of Sierra Club Outdoors and works with its military outdoors program.
He launched the Great Outdoors Lab in partnership with the University of California at Berkeley to study the impact of the outdoors on health.
He also started Adventure Not War, which takes military veterans back to combat zones in which they fought... to ski, climb and participate in other adventure sports.
He was here recently for the first ever Aspen Snowmass Military Ski Week, where he gave a talk titled "Nature, Values and Duty."
