Glenwood Springs residents have chosen new city council members and decided on a ballot question. Steve Davis won the council seat for Ward 1, which covers the western section of Glenwood Springs. Kathryn Trauger won the At Large seat.

Both received unusually large single contributions from a Denver couple with connections to the energy industry, and hoping to spend more time in Glenwood Springs. That's according to a recent report in the Post Independent.

According to last night's vote tally, residents re-elected two other council members who ran unopposed. And voters decided in favor of allowing the City of Glenwood Springs to consider selling some property. It’s located on the south side of town, near the intersection of South Grand Avenue and 23rd st.

You can see full unofficial results here, as shared by the Glenwood Springs City Clerk’s office.
