Mark Hunt in his own words

  The Aspen City Council is expected to make a decision tonight on whether to approve an affordable lodge on Main Street called Base 2. It’s proposed by developer Mark Hunt, who wants to build it along with another lodge, but only if the Main Street property is approved. He and his investment group own at least a dozen properties downtown and are looking to buy more. Hunt sat down with Aspen Public Radio’s Carolyn Sackariason to talk about tonight’s lodge proposal.
