Missouri Heights under microscope at Thurs. meeting in El Jebel

The Roaring Fork Valley Regional Planning Commission is reviewing the plan guiding land-use decisions in the parts of Eagle County over here. On Thursday, they are looking at Missouri Heights.

The existing Mid-Valley Area Community plan recommends Missouri Heights be left as is. The area stretches from above El Jebel to Cottonwood Pass, and there’s currently a mix of housing developments, agricultural and open range land.

At the meeting in El Jebel, residents can make suggestions to leave the existing plan as is, or propose changes.
