Plans for the Gorsuch Haus hotel were put on hold this spring when Aspen City Council voted to suspend its review of the project.

That doesn’t mean that the development is out of view, however. A mailer from the Gorsuch team was sent to all Aspen voters this June, and the 4th of July Parade featured a Gorsuch Haus float. Reporter Alycin Bektesh has been checking in with the players and fills us in on where the project sits right now.
