Through richly textured stories and insightful conversation about everything from opera to comic books, PRI's Studio 360 presents ideas that are provocative, moving, and always engaging. Hosted by novelist and journalist Kurt Andersen, the series is a lively forum for the arts and culture that challenges listeners' perceptions of the world.

Program segments include "Kurt's Commentary," Andersen's weekly musings on culture, from the new TV season to politics as entertainment; "Design for the Real World," in which designers talk about everyday items from the Swiss Army knife to the Post-it Note; and "Portraits," profiles of famous artists and people behind the scenes.

Studio 360 checks in on the rebuilding of New Orleans, five years after Katrina. Kurt talks to urban planners who have followed every step of the city's recovery, and New Orleans residents tell their own rebuilding stories.
