Join classical host Andrew Todd each Tuesday afternoon for a new series surveying American piano concertos. Each week, the show will feature a different concerto written by an American composer. The survey will run the gamut of styles and periods, from the romantic concerti of Edward MacDowell to the well-known works of George Gershwin, with frequent stops covering lesser-known and newer compositions.

Other featured composers will include Howard Hanson, William Bolcom, John Adams, Paul Creston, John Corigliano, Ned Rorem, Peter Menin, Leonard Bernstein, Samuel Barber, Lucas Foss, Goerge Antheil, Roy Harris, Bela Bartok, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Arnold Schoenberg, Amy Beach, Lowell Liebermann, William Schumann, Vittorio Giannini, and Philip Glass.
