Community Development Director Julie Ann Woods told Snowmass elected leaders this week that the 6-year-old comprehensive plan needs more than a couple of tweaks here and there.
“In 2010 we didn’t have a developer for Base Village,” Woods told Aspen Public Radio Tuesday. “The Snowmass Center just changed hands … it would be wise for us to look at ways to revitalize the Snowmass Mall and those are things that hadn't been fully discussed.”
A budget of $200,000 has been allocated toward overhauling the plan. The public can weigh in on the need for a new plan at the council’s meeting June 20.
