Clark’s Market reopens after 14 weeks

Aspen is no longer a one grocery store town. Clark’s Market opens its doors today after a 14-week remodel.

Things are back in full swing at the locally owned grocery store, just in time for the traditional lobster mania that takes place at all Clark’s Markets every July 4.

“We have a lot of lobsters coming in here. We have even more coming up into Snowmass, so there’s going to be thousands of live Maine lobsters,” Tom Clark Jr. is company president said. “It’s a little challenging to open from the remodel and two days later do a huge sale like that, but we are up to it.”

Clark Jr. expects people to be in complete disbelief about the dramatic changes they will see.
