Aspen Highlands won’t open this week as planned. Instead, it’ll open Dec. 16.
Lifts have been running at Aspen Mountain and Snowmass since Thanksgiving, and around four inches of snow earlier this week helped open new terrain.
When Highlands opens, SkiCo said it hopes to have several runs off of Loge Chair, a portion of the G Zones in the Highland Bowl, Golden Horn and Thunderbowl ready for skiers and snowboarders.
