Occupancy numbers in Aspen and Snowmass were near record highs this winter, despite a disappointing snow season.
Stay Aspen Snowmass reviewed visitor data for the full winter season and found, this year, occupancy was up one percentage point from last, making it the second-busiest on record. Winter occupancy averaged 58 percent November through April.
Summer bookings in Aspen and Snowmass are slightly behind last year’s record season. Stay Aspen Snowmass hopes last-minute bookings will make up the difference, and believe more visitors will be coming in through the airport, as airlines increase their flight volume to the valley.
