Lift One Corridor Open House Ahead Of Public Hearing

The city of Aspen is hosting an open house for community members to learn more about the proposed redevelopment of Aspen Mountains’ west entrance, known as the Lift One Corridor.

Monday's open house will feature renderings of the two proposed hotels, as well as development plans that show where the skier chalet lodge would be moved, where a new chairlift would be placed, and where the historical society’s ski museum would be. The event is in city council chambers from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 pm.

Later Monday evening council continues the public hearing on the Lift One Corridor. For the development to go through, Aspen voters need to allow for a zoning change in the area.
