We are looking for people to volunteer on our 24-hour Crisis Helpline! As a volunteer advocate you will be responding to those directly impacted by domestic and sexual violence by providing immediate and confidential access to information, resources, and support. The training will run every Tuesday and Thursday night from 5:30 to 8:30 starting on February 5th and ending on February 26th. To become a volunteer you must complete a 30-hour training that is a combination of online courses you can take at your own leisure and seven three-hour sessions with Response’s team members and community partners such as law enforcement, treatment providers, and forensic specialists. The training will take place at the Health and Human Services building in Aspen.
