Jeffrey Kenner, is president of Kenner & Company, a New York-based private investment firm. The firm provides capital for growth and liquidity to shareholders of private companies. Prior to his founding of Kenner & Company in 1986, Mr. Kenner was president of the venture capital affiliate of an investment banking firm and previously a management consultant for Price Waterhouse. Mr. Kenner has served on the professional boards of Behr Paint Company, Dynacast International, LLC, a global electronics component manufacturer, and Pace Industries, aluminum die caster of consumer durable and automotive products, and on the non-profit boards of Reed College and the Alaska Wilderness League. He is an NPR Foundation Trustee and Chairman of its finance committee. Mr. Kenner was educated at Lehigh University, where he received degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration, and he attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program in Financial Management. He served in the US Marine Corps.
Mr. Kenner resides in New York City and Woody Creek, CO, with his wife Hyunja and daughter Caroline. His older daughter, Julie, has four children and lives in Aspen. Mr. Kenner is an avid sportsman. He competes in olympic distance triathlons and enjoys sailing and skiing with his family.
