The St. Regis is trying to beef up its entertainment lineup with a concerted effort to book big musical acts. This weekend, members of Blind Melon and Fuel will perform at the hotel. It is the second time in recent weeks where a high-profile act has played at the Shadow Mountain Lounge.

It is part of a concerted effort being made by the hotel to bring more high-profile acts to play.

The hope is that seeing bands like Blind Melon and Fuel, as well as the Freddy Jones Band and Scott Kusmerik from Gin Blossoms will draw similar artists to the venue later this year.

The St. Regis hopes that going forward, artists will be more receptive to playing there.
