Blue Horizon - Dec. 12, 2015

It's that time of year when Blue Horizon pays tribute to the blues artists who passed away during the year.  Some were household names such as B.B. King and Allen Toussaint.  Others were better know for the songwriting or composition as were Rose Marie McCoy and Sam Andrew.  While others are best known for their songs....

When A Man Loves A Woman, Stand By Me, and Sea Cruise.  Then there Robert "Wolfman" Belfour and Captain Luke who paid their dues but never realized commercial success.  Also of note is the passing of two thirds of the trio The Holmes Brothers in Popsy Dixon and Wendell Holmes.

Artists include Popsy Dixon (d. 1/9/16), Rose Marie McCoy (d. 1/20/15), Sam Andrew (d. 2/12/15), Dave Maxwell (d. 2/13/15), Robert "Wolfman" Belfour (d. 2/24/15), Percy Sledge (d. 4/14/15), Ben E.
