The Garfield County Commissioners are revisiting two permit applications for storage facilities near Carbondale.
The commissioners have visited the sites and will hear from public Monday afternoon.
The Blue Mountain Mini Storage Facility would be located at the corner of Highway 82 and County Road 100.
The Go-Self Storage facility would be located one mile east of Carbondale. Both buildings would stand three stories high.
Since a meeting in March, the commissioners have visited both sites. Staff is still recommending denial of both projects, citing incompatibility with the county’s land use plan.
