Congressman Scott Tipton will hold a telephone town hall next week

In a statement this week, the Rep. Tipton wrote that he can’t make it to all of the 29 western Colorado counties that he represents as frequently as he would like to. Instead, on Monday, anyone may dial in for a group phone call. Tipton will speak about some of his recent work in Washington D.C. and then take questions.

“We talk to him afterwards and hear what questions he received and if there needs to be any follow up or action items,” saidcommunications director Liz Payne.

“But it’s really just an opportunity for the Congressman to continue his dialogue with his constituents and make sure that he knows what's on top of their minds so he can bring their feedback here,” she said.

100,000 people received the call to participate in a similar telephone town hall this spring, Payne said about 10,000 were on the line at peak participation.

How to join in: Anyone who is interested in participating in the telephone town hall on June 26, 2017, should call Tipton’s Washington, DC, office at 202-225-4761 to sign up no later than Friday, June 23, 2017 and 12:00 noon MT.
