With performing arts venues shut down due to coronavirus and stay-at-home orders, The Arts Campus at Willits, or TACAW, has been curating virtual and live performances.

TACAW’S executive director Ryan Honey says that while COVID-19 has stalled construction on the art center’s new facility The Contemporary, livestreamed shows have been a great way to interact with audiences from home.

"It's really neat what some of the artists are doing and how they're staying connected to their fans," he says. "And we want to facilitate that, and, you know, and give people an outlet where they can find some arts and culture entertainment in the midst of this craziness."

TACAW is livestreaming four online performances Saturday, including a benefit concert for New Orleans artists affected by the pandemic.

Next week's shows include Jeremy Mohney on Monday night, and Angela Perley on Thursday. Prospective viewers can find more information or tune in by visiting TACAW's website.
