Dr. Motley has written a memoir called Madison Park: A Place of Hope about growing up in this extraordinary community, which was full of support and selflessness. The values of determination and generosity that Dr. Motley learned there, have continued to inform his life and work.
He talked about how the lessons he learned while growing up apply to our current national conversation.
