Cross Currents: Feb. 28, 2018

Emmy-award winning journalists and New York Times best-selling authors John Donvan and Caren Zucker wrote In a Different Key: The Story of Autism, which is now being developed into a documentary.  Donvan and Zucker speak to building community for those with autism.

This is also the goal of local nonprofit Ascendigo Autism Services, led by President and CEO Peter Bell. Ascendigo, based in Carbondale, offers outdoor recreational options for kids and adults, a comprehensive life program for adults and behavior therapies for children.

John, Caren and Peter joined Christin Kay to talk about the picture for those living with autism today.
