The deadline to take Aspen's 2019 Citizen Survey is September 13.

Karen Harrington, the Director of Quality for the City of Aspen, said, previously, a random sample of registered voters within city limits received the survey in the mail. Now, all registered voters and residents living in affordable housing units can fill it out.

"That expanded our number of people surveyed from 1,750 to over 5,000 in terms of the households," Harrington said.

The survey will ask about city services and specific departments, like environmental health and parks and recreation.

Harrington said after the initial survey closes on September 13, an online survey will be available for anyone in the Roaring Fork Valley. She said they want to hear from the larger community this year.
