City Council incumbent Adam Frisch is at the head of the pack, when it comes to raising money for this spring election, and keeping his Council seat. Frisch raised more than $8,000 from April 10th to April 28th. That’s almost twice of the runner up, Mick Ireland.

That former mayor and councilman came in second by raising more than $4,000. Andy Israel remains the only Council candidate to not have any campaign contributions.

In the mayor’s race, challenger Torre raised nearly $3,000 in the last few weeks, while incumbent Steve Skadron garnered more, at about $3,300.

In the battle over a proposed Charter Amendment, the campaign for Referendum 1 raised about $1,100 in the last few weeks. The effort against the referendum raised nearly $2,000.

Candidates and ballot campaigns must file their contributions one more time before ballots are counted next Tuesday. The next deadline is in two days, on Friday. There’s no limit to how much money a candidate can raise.
