Glenwood Springs looks to fill open council seat

City of Glenwood Springs

Glenwood Springs is currently taking applications to fill the vacant city council seat left by Kathryn Trauger, who recently resigned due to conflicts she had with her new job with Pitkin County.

Trauger served on the council since April 2015 and was also serving as mayor pro tem, meaning she would fill in as mayor in the actual mayor's absence.

The city will be taking applications for Trauger’s vacant seat until Monday at the end of the day.

A new council member must be appointed by Mar. 3 and will keep the position until the next election in April, 2019.
