Readers, Writers Can Connect At Carbondale Library's 'Local Lit Fest'

Garfield County Libraries

Thursday, the Carbondale library celebrates area writers with its second annual Local Lit Fest

Eight authors will be at the library to chat about and sign copies of their books, which include fiction, local history and children’s literature.

Lacy Dunlavey is the branch manager.  She says the event highlights the wealth of writers who live in the Valley, and aims to connect them with readers.

"It’s personal, you can talk to an author, ask them about their process and talk about their book directly with them," she said.

Featured authors include David A. Aguilar, Corrie Karnan, David Wall, Clark Heckert, Pam Heckert, Linda L. Flynn, Charlotte Graham and Darrell Munsell.

The Carbondale Writer’s Group is also sponsoring the Local Lit Fest, which starts at 6 p.m.
