The Grand Avenue Bridge is open, and the detour is over, but buses have kept to their bridge-closure-schedule the past few weeks. That changes this week.
Wednesday is the last day to ride the bus for free within Glenwood Springs, as fares will kick in again on Thursday.
The Grand Hogback route is a little different. Its service will change incrementally over the next few weeks. For the duration of the closure, the bus went all the way to Parachute, but, starting Thursday, buses will resume travel from Glenwood Springs to Rifle. The Grand Hogback will still be free, however, until Dec. 9.
Also on Thursday, the Cross Town and Galena Street Shuttles return to Aspen for the winter.
