The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority starts its “Fall Shoulder Season” on Thursday; it’s the roughly two-week ramp up to the full winter season.
This means there’s more service than in the fall, but not quite as much as what’s to come this winter. Starting Thursday, BRT buses are back to operating seven days a week, and same with the Carbondale Circulator.
When the winter schedule begins on Dec. 8, there will be more buses, more often.
The city of Aspen routes, however, have resumed their full winter schedules: The Crosstown and Galena Street shuttles start Thursday and continue into the spring.
