The Roaring Fork Transportation Agency (RFTA) begins its spring bus schedule Monday. It’s no different than previous years, despite the Castle Creek Bridge project.
Veteran RFTA riders probably know the drill. Starting Monday, the BRT service runs only Monday through Friday, as does Carbondale’s circulator bus. In Aspen, the Crosstown and Galena Shuttles vanish until the summer season, starting on June 9.
Because of the Castle Creek Bridge project, RFTA will start running additional shuttles on May 2. They’ll travel between Aspen and the Highway 82 intercept lot and up to the Snowmass Mall during peak commute times.
