Speeding fines double on Highway 82

  Local law enforcement agencies and CDOT have joined together in an attempt to reduce the number of wildlife collisions on Highway 82. Reporter Elise Thatcher has more.

Drivers who speed at night between mile markers 31 and 38 will now be fined double the normal amount. Wildlife officials want travelers to have more reaction time. The higher fines apply between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m.
