The Australian group The TEN Tenors returns to the Wheeler Opera House for a holiday performance this evening.
The TEN Tenors blend pop tunes with opera in their vocal performances. Thursday night in their holiday show, they’ll perform Christmas classics like “Joy to the World” alongside newer songs like John Lennon’s “Happy Xmas (War Is Over).”
Michael Edwards has been a member of the group since 2013. He says their onstage energy comes from their passion for collaboration.
"One of the things I love most about creating music is creating it with other people, so being able to create it with nine other guys is really exciting," said Edwards.
The group will also sing non-holiday tunes this evening - rock group Queen is a staple of most of their shows.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
