The Aspen Center for Environmental Studies hosts a farm tour and dinner on Thursday, Sept. 3 at Rock Bottom Ranch.

This is Week In The Arts—a curation of virtual events, exhibits and reopenings around the Roaring Fork Valley.

The Aspen Center for Environmental Studies hosts a “Burlap Dinner” at Rock Bottom Ranch on Thursday, September 3 from 6-8 p.m. The event features a behind the scenes look at local agriculture, dinner and dessert.

Musician Patrick Sweany plays at Highlands Alehouse on Friday, Sept. 4 and Saturday, Sept. 5. The concerts are part of Aspen All Access, a 6-week socially distant concert series. Tickets are available at the event’s website.

Buttermilk’s drive-in movie theater screens "Forrest Gump" on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. Parking passes for the film can be purchased online

 

Kirsten was born and raised in Massachusetts, and has called Colorado home since 2008. She moved to Vail the day after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011. Before relocating to Basalt in 2020, she also spent a year living in one of Aspen’s sister cities, Queenstown, New Zealand.
