Thursday, Aspen Film and the Wheeler Opera House present a screening of “The Two Popes.” The film, inspired by true events, outlines the friendship between Pope Benedict XVI and the future Pope Francis. The movie begins at 6:30 p.m.
Also Thursday, the Red Brick Center for the Arts in Aspen hosts the Holiday Sip and Shop. Resident artists’ studios will be open to the public. The event starts at 5 p.m.
Friday, four Colorado comedians visit Aspen’s Silver City Saloon for the “Fresh Tracks Comedy Tour.” The show, hosted by Mark Masters, starts at 5:30 p.m.
