Sopris Theatre Company presents an encore performance of the play ‘Hope and Gravity’ at the Wheeler Opera House on Thursday. The tragi-comedy looks at what happens when an elevator dislodges inside a big-city high-rise. The performance begins at 7 p.m.
Friday, Skye Gallery Aspen holds an opening reception for “Ecco Hominum,” a new exhibition of layered and carved paintings from Colorado artist Andrew Jensdotter. The event begins at 6 p.m.
Guitarists Martin Taylor and Laurence Juberbring a blend of jazz, pop and more to the JAS Cafe Downstairs at the Little Nell on Friday and Saturday. Shows start at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. both evenings.
