Week In The Arts: July 15 - 21, 2019

Welcome to another week in the Roaring Fork Valley!  This is Week in the Arts, a curated list of upcoming exhibitions and events.  

Monday, the documentary “The Biggest Little Farm” screens at Paepcke Auditorium in Aspen. The film follows two city-dwellers as they start an organic farm. The film will be followed by a discussion with Eden Vardy, the executive director of local nonprofit The Farm Collaborative. The movie begins at 7 p.m. 

Aspen Words’ current Writer in Residence is novelist Zinzi Clemmons.She’ll discuss her debut novel “What We Lose” on Tuesday evening at Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen.  The event begins at 5:30 p.m. 

 

UPDATE: The event with Zinzi Clemmons has been cancelled.

Wednesday, the Aspen Chapel Gallery opens a show titled "New Landscapes in the Bauhaus Tradition." The show is a partnership with the Aspen Historical Society and features work from ten local artists. An opening reception begins at 5 p.m.
