This is Week in the Arts—a curation of virtual events and exhibits around the Roaring Fork Valley.

Aspen’s Saturday Market returns this weekend. The venue will be scaled back due to public health protocols. A list of guidelines for the market’s return can be found on its Facebook page

Carbondale Arts’ two current exhibitions “Forever Until Tomorrow” and “Angel Places” can be viewed in person at its R2 gallery, or on the organization’s website. The exhibits include work from Colorado artists Matthew Eames and Alissa Davies.

Aspen Historical Society resumes its guided walking history tours this week, including a tour of the historical society’s vault on Tuesday, and a Mining & Ranching Tour on Friday.

Kirsten was born and raised in Massachusetts, and has called Colorado home since 2008. She moved to Vail the day after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011. Before relocating to Basalt in 2020, she also spent a year living in one of Aspen’s sister cities, Queenstown, New Zealand.
