Welcome to another week in the Roaring Fork Valley! This is Week in the Arts, a curated list of upcoming events.
Thursday, local immigrants share true stories of leaving home and creating a new future at the live storytelling event Immigrant Voices, which begins at the Aspen Chapel at 7 p.m.
Also Thursday, four local artists selected for the first Artist Fellowship program at the Aspen Art Museum share their work. The evening includes a variety of hands-on art activities, videos and performances and starts at 5 p.m. at the museum.
Friday, Colorado Mountain College and the Carbondale Creative District present a group watercolor show featuring painters from five of Colorado's Creative Districts. An opening reception begins at 6 p.m. at Morgridge Commons in Glenwood Springs.
