A celebration of John Denver starts Wednesday. The singer-songwriter spent much of his life in Aspen. Events include concerts, tributes and sing-a-longs at venues all around Aspen.
Also Wednesday, author Dr. Edith Eva Eger comes to CMC Spring Valley to speak about her memoir, “The Choice: Embrace the Possible.” Eger is a 92-year-old psychologist and Holocaust survivor. The event begins at 7 p.m.
Shining Mountains Film Festival begins at the Wheeler Opera House on Sunday. The event marks Indigenous People’s Day and celebrates Native American history and culture with documentaries, short films and discussions.
