Week in the Arts - October 26th

Oct 26, 2015

Halloween is upon us! This spooky edition of the week in the arts will send chills down your spine.

Wednesday at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass. Make creepy crafts with the entire family. Hot apple cider, my personal favorite thing about fall, and then trick-or-treating through the studios on the campus.

On Friday in Aspen, Albert Hammond Jr. plays at the Belly Up. The guitarist for The Strokes released his latest album earlier this year. And while The Strokes lost their musical focus, Hammond’s songs seem to get stronger with each album that he puts out.

Dia de los muertos is being celebrated at the Launchpad in Carbondale at 5:30. The festivities include a parade, puppets and dancing as well as tamale tasting.

Crystal River Dance Club in Carbondale is have a Halloween dance party on that spooky night. From 10 p.m. on, people 21 and up can dance the night away.

Zepperella plays the Belly Up on saturday as part of a Halloween party. Doors open at 9:00.
