Saturday is the third annual Women's March for Decency and Truth in Aspen.
The Aspen event is part of the larger Women’s March held in cities around the world. Aspen's event begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Silver Queen gondola and includes a ski down Aspen Mountain.
Topping out at over 11,000 feet, this will be the highest demonstration in the U.S. After demonstrators ski down, they’ll reconvene in Paepke Park for a rally. An organized march will start at the park and end across from the Wheeler Opera House. There will be speeches from a slate of local, female leaders.
Last year, over 100 people attended the event, co-sponsored by Pitkin County Democrats.
