The documentary “Adventure Not War” shows at the Temporary on Thursday. The film follows Stacy Bare, a veteran who set out to climb and ski everywhere he fought and served while in the army.
The event includes a discussion with Bare, who’ll talk about ski mountaineering in Iraq, and how adventure helped him heal. A portion of ticket proceeds from the event will go to local nonprofit Huts for Vets, a non-profit that supports combat veterans with wilderness therapy.
