A scheduled draining of Harvey Gap Reservoir and the corresponding fish salvage has been postponed at least a year because of a leaky ditch.
A section of the road to the the reservoir washed out Sunday after a ditch was breached.
Kelly Lyon, president of Silt Water Conservancy, says the road damage and leak in the ditch make it impossible to drain the reservoir by October, which was the goal.
As a result, Colorado Parks and Wildlife has reinstated all bag, possession and size limits for anglers at the reservoir.
