Developers are bringing a tiny home community to Silt.
The builders - Camp Colorado River is developing 50 acres south of I70 into a tiny home community.
The plot will have 70 tiny homes - these are miniature houses that of around 400 square feet.
The community - called River Run - will be the largest tiny home community in Colorado. Developer Alan Danson said he hopes it will help address the housing crisis by providing an affordable alternative to expensive metropolitan areas - and draw younger residents to the area.
CCR - specializes in campgrounds RV parks - but had their land re-zoned for permanent residents.
Homes will be available for purchase online this spring - and residents can move in by the spring of 2020.
