The Aspen Music Festival and School began its second phase of renovations three days after students left in August.

Old maintenance buildings and classrooms have been torn down in the last few months, and a new rehearsal building is also having its foundation laid.

The Hardy Administration Building, which was built about 130 years ago, had some serious work done. One corner had to be lifted up nine inches to be returned to level.

The AMFS Business Office, which is the other century-old building on campus, was lifted one hundred feet away.

The $60 million project started in 2013, and  is scheduled to be completed in June.
